SINGLE-ORIGIN COFFEE: our Arabica choices

Single origin coffee comes from a single geographical area, a single plantation or a specific region of a producing country. Unlike blends, which combine coffee from different origins for a balanced aromatic profile, the monorigine enhances the unique characteristics of the growing territory.

We have selected our proposals among the best Arabica varieties of the equatorial belt. Their distinctive aromas reflect the peculiarities of the countries of origin

Capricornio

Arabica origin Brazil
Refined flavour with intense hazelnut  and milk chocolate taste. Fruity notes aftertaste.

Colombia

Moderate, balanced acidity. Delicate body, intense and persistent taste and dark chocolate aftertaste.

Cuba

Great character and body, low acidity, an aftertaste of dark chocolate and the scent of tobacco.

Guatemala

Reminiscent of fresh fruit, fresh walnut with a note of cocoa and an aftertaste of spices.

Mogiana

Arabica origin Brazil
Dense with a fruity taste that perfectly balances  acidity and sweetness.

Salvador

Important but sweet acidity, strong floral aromas with citrus notes. In the cup it is very intense rich and balanced.

Characteristics of single-origin Coffee

  • Traceability: It is possible to know exactly the country and region of origin of coffee.
  • Unique aromatic profile: The taste is influenced by factors such as altitude, climate and processing methods.
  • Greater variety of flavors: It can have fruity, floral, spicy or chocolate notes, depending on the origin.
  • Higher acidity and complexity (especially in single-origin arabica coffees, such as those offered by our roasting).

Single-origin coffee is particularly appreciated by connoisseurs and filter coffee lovers, but it can also be used for an espresso with unique characteristics.
