Ground coffee: the aroma of tradition

The ground coffee is the heart of the Italian tradition, perfect for those who love the ritual of mocha and the enveloping scent that spreads in the house. We grind the same blends intended for bars, ensuring a full-bodied espresso or coffee with a balanced taste, ready for any time of day.

Caffè macinato delizia

Portofino

Caffè macinato morbido

Smooth

Ultra-smooth and rounded blend with a good, consistent lingering crema that is never invasive. In the cup, it develops a pleasant aroma with hints of chocolate and spices and floral notes.  Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe fruit, cereal and spices. The addition of sugar enhances the fragrance of chocolate and vanilla.

Caffè macinato forte

Strong

Full-bodied blend with a distinctive flavour. Persistent, pleasant crema. In the cup, it develops notes of toasted bread and leaves a spicy aftertaste with no acidity. Reminiscent of the typical qualities of Italian espresso coffee.

Make the perfect coffee with moka

The ground coffee for mocha must have a medium grain, not too fine as that for espresso, otherwise it could clog the filter, and not too thick, otherwise the coffee would be weak.

To achieve a great result remember:

  • Always use good quality fresh water
  • Do not over-fill the filter with coffee
  • Do not press coffee
  • Use a low flame to prevent the coffee from burning
  • Clean the moka thoroughly after each use
